I am currently working on a forthcoming project:

For the collection, Feminist Design Rhetorics: Theories, Practices, and Pedagogies for Building Equity and Collective Justice. My chapter, “Design in the Archives: Using Archive Material as a Strategy in Teaching Feminist Design and Equity," explores documents from the Suffragettee, ERA, and Riot Grrrl eras to examine design and equity by working with archive materials as a way to discuss feminist design in historical context,

Speaking Up, Speaking Out: The Lived Experiences of NTT Faculty in Writing Studies

Speaking Up, Speaking Out addresses the lived experiences of those working in the non-tenure-track faculty (NTTF) trenches through storytelling and reflection. By connecting NTTF voices from various aspects of writing studies, the collection offers fresh perspectives and meaningful contributions, imagining the possibilities for contingent faculty to be valued and honored in educational systems that often do the opposite. Challenging traditional ways of seeing NTTF, the work contains multiple entry points to NTT life: those with and without “terminal degrees,” those with PhDs, and those who have held or currently hold tenured positions.

“Writing Landfills: A Critical Technological Literacy Approach to Electronic Waste.”

Published in the Proceedings of the Computers and Writing Annual Conference 2019, this article considers the ethical implications of e-waste in computers and writing and how we can use Selfe’s (1999) critical technological literacy to help students understand these issues. I introduce approaches and assignments that ask students to critically consider their own e-waste and how it impacts our field
and professional practices.
